Please don't think I'm taking sides here. I'm not making a statement on the military, or soldiers in general. I have friends who have been to Afghanistan, too, and I have a new kind of respect for them after hearing their horror stories. I'm not putting down everybody because of a few bad apples
The people in the helicopter did their job shooting the men with AK-47's. Everything after that was murder. The shooter didn't even feel any remorse after he found out he shot a little gi...
Dude...this guy killed two unarmed photographers, he killed unarmed people who came to help one of the photographers, and he shot and possibly killed two CHILDREN. He was laughing the whole time for god's sake.
Screw this asshole's sanity, he shot a little girl, then he tried to blame the people in the minivan (her parents?) for what happened. That's sociopathic behavior...zero remorse. I can't think of a punishment bad enough for this piece of trash.
Yes, I can hone...
I was going to join this hardcore battle, but I was too busy being hardcore playing through a 72-hour World of Warcraft hardcore marathon. Plus, my mom was being really casual and she wouldn't let me borrow her hardcore minivan.
Hardcore.
I love Red Dead Revolver, but I'm not at all into this one. It looks like another GTA scenario, where the PS2 game is way more appealing to me.
Read the 4th paragraph on part 2. I think that's the biggest problem with Heavy Rain. They threw in a really dumb twist just for the sake of twisting.
Well, a character in Heavy Rain does actually say, "You go, girl!"
"I walked out of 'Alice in Wonderland,' but the popcorn and raisinets were FANTASTIC!"
If a game sucks, I'm not gonna finish it. A critic on the other hand absolutely should. It's especially important for a supposedly story-driven game like this. Like everyone's saying, it's their job, but more importantly, they influence a huge group of people.
If a critic plays 20 hours of a 60 hour game, they can only really give one third of a review.
A time-sink like Final Fantasy XIII is probably an enormous pain in the ass for critics, though, I get it. If it's ...
Good god! Look at those ears!
Its funny how people don't like having to use a disc. Anything that requires activity - like getting off the couch and taking 3 steps - is a negative, I guess.
Also, LOL at video games being for mature adults ONLY!
Now I'm glad I kept my Wii. When does this come out?
The third dimension is a DC crossover!
That would get me to try home again.
Dammit, why can't they just take what worked in Spiderman 2 - web swinging - and build off it? I've never played another game where simply moving around was so much fun.
Maximum Carnage is the balls. I still play it all the time.
"Gimme a dollar and I'll leave you alone!"
I couldn't find that scene on youtube :(
I was so excited for the first Red Steel, I bought it the day it came out...I'm not falling for that one again.
Yeah, but it's also on the people promoting the game to not give too much away. Somebody above made a great connection to movie trailers. I was shocked when I saw the trailer for "Brothers" - it's a 2 minute condensed version of the entire movie.
"In the past 10 years, there have been more than 30 games released bearing the Final Fantasy name. Of those, exactly five have been new, numbered entries."
DAMN! That just blew my mind. Parts 7, 8, 9, and 10 came out over the span of four years...what the hell happened?
This is exactly why they shouldn't be remaking anything.
I thought 2009 was pretty brilliant for games, Wii included. This guy lives in Crazytown, though. Just look at that picture above - I think he's about to slay a cardboard dragon.
These journalists weren't "hanging out." They were war photographers, and these people try to document everything.
It's incredibly depressing, but not really surprising, that they were killed for it.
